Online course building for IB DP Sciences and iGCSE Maths

We were initially contracted as subject matter experts to check the accuracy of IB DP Science assessment content on an online learning platform. This involved reviewing written content, artwork briefs and artworks to ensure that all questions were scientifically accurate and at an appropriate level for IB students.

As the project progressed, our client found themselves struggling for internal resource, and they could see that our adaptable team of editors and content specialists would be able to offer value beyond just the SME checks. As the project reached its final stages, we found ourselves overseeing the complete build of content, including editorial review, artwork and alt text creation, and build into the online platform.

As with all projects we work on, much of the drive behind this progression of tasks came from our adaptability and our specialism in being able to offer bespoke and efficient workflows, such that we were able to use the same small-but-agile team for a range of tasks, without needing any external support or management.

Following from this project, the client asked us to take on similar work for the iGCSE Maths course. Again, this involved reviewing written content, artwork and alt text creation, and building into the online platform.

Since completing the online courses for both IB DP Science and iGCSE Maths, we have been asked to take on another similar project, this time for Lower Secondary Maths and Science, and we are excited to continue working with the client in this way on a new project.
